Anniversary trips are an incredible way to reconnect and recommit to your marriage. Spending time alone gives you a chance to fall deeper in love with your spouse. You don't have to leave the USA to have an excellent anniversary trip. There are tons of stunning and romantic destinations right here. They are waiting to be discovered by you! Here are my top picks for best anniversary getaways in the USA.

Kauai, Hawaii

My love for Kauai is neverending; it is my favorite Hawaiian Island! In Kauai, you will find untouched beauty. There are only two highways in Kauai, and no building is allowed to be taller than a palm tree. Are you looking for jungles, beaches, waterfalls? If yes, Kauai is the perfect destination for you. Read our Essential Hawaii Guide if you want to read more about Kauai. Romantic resorts Jessie recommends for Kauai Grand Hyatt Kauai, Princeville Resort, and Koa Kea Hotel.

The San Juan Islands, Washington

Peaceful and secluded the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington State are a haven for couples that desire adventure. Lovely, quaint B&B's dot the beaches and ensure that you will spend your time feeling as if you are part of the family. Spend your days' hiking, biking, swimming, and boating and your nights snuggling by a fire. Romantic resorts Jessie recommends for San Juan islands Snug Harbor Resort, Lakedale Resort of the Edenwild Boutique Inn.

Sante Fe, New Mexico

Did you know that New Mexico is the sunniest state in the USA? New Mexico averages 280 days of sunshine a year. My husband did a sabbatical in Los Alamos in 2009. My absolute favorite place in New Mexico is Sante Fe. The art scene is stellar; the food is superb, and the resorts are romantic. Romantic resorts Jessie recommends for Sante Fe Four Seasons Rancho Encantado, Rosewood in of the Anasazi, and the Inn of the Five Graces.

Napa Valley, California

Celebrate the most beautiful things in life (and love) at Napa Valley. It is home to more than 400 vineyards! My husband and I went to Napa for our babymoon. Admittedly, I didn't think that decision through, surrounded by some of the most incredible wines in the nation, and I couldn't drink any of them! But if you are looking for delicious wines, farm-to-table dining, and gorgeous hotels, Napa is calling your name. It is in our Destination Wedding Locations Guaranteed to Leave You Smitten. Romantic Resorts Jessie recommends for Napa Valley Las Alcabos, Carneros Resort, and Auberge du Soleil.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Jackson Hole is merely gorgeous. When I saw the sunrise over the mountains on my first morning in Jackson Hole, I was awestruck. Many think that it is only for skiing, but Jackson Hole is a year-round destination. Outdoorsy couples will love hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, horseback riding, and yes, skiing. You won't be bored in Jackson Hole, I am not particularly outdoorsy, but I still loved it.

Romantic resorts Jessie recommends for Jackson Hole Four Seasons Jackson Hole, Amangani, and Caldera House. Anniversary trips are some of my favorite trips to plan! Instead of giving you love flowers and cards, give them the gift of time alone with you. This blog is only Part 1 of my best anniversary getaways in the USA. There are so many beautiful parts of the US that you need to see! If you want to read more about Continental US, read Part 1 and Part 2 of our Best Honeymoon Resorts in the Continental USA.
