Magical & Romantic Honeymoon Experiences in Paris

Audrey Hepburn, my favorite actress, said, "Paris is always a good idea." And as a former Parisian, I agree. Paris is enchanting. Whitestone homes exude luxury, freshly baked croissants wafting through the air, and blossoms hang along cobbled streets. Paris is a destination unlike any other, from its spectacular monuments and historical byways to its unique culinary and museum scene. The city has drawn honeymooners to its gorgeous thoroughfares for centuries. Here are magical & romantic honeymoon experiences in Paris.

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is a must-do for most, but there is no reason to go up to the top. The view from the 1st and 2nd levels is better because Paris is flat. On the 1st level, you will find a lovely lunch restaurant, and you can explore the perimeter. You can access Michelin-star restaurants, shops, and a macaron counter on the second floor. Grab a glass of champagne to toast the moment! It is a great way to take in the city without the crushing mobs at the top.

Jessie's Eiffel Tower Tip: make a lunch reservation at one of the restaurants; you can bypass the long line for the elevator.

Cruise Down the Seine

Indulge in a private cruise tailored to your desires down a gorgeous Seine River. Your boat is a luxurious Venetian water taxi custom-built for cruises in Paris. It features a personal salon with a banquette, tinted windows, and an open or closed roof. You'll see Paris' most stunning museums and landmarks from a unique perspective. Remember to bring champagne for your unforgettable and romantic voyage in Paris.

Jessie's Seine River Cruise Tip: go late in the evening; Paris is stunning when lit up.

Explore Versailles with a 12-Course Meal.

Have you ever dreamed of living like French royalty? After exploring the stunning castle, you will have a meal fit for a king. Be amazed by the classic a la francaise service, menu inspired by the court with modern flavors, tableware from the antique royal manufacture of Limoges, and staff in tailor-made outfits inspired by the 18th century. The chef took inspiration from 18th-century meals to create a contemporary menu. Beyond dinner, it is an authentic experience.

Picnic at the Foot of the Eiffel Tower

On the way to the tower, grab a delectable lunch nearby, buy a baguette from the bakery, and make your picnic under the Eiffel Tower. It's a lovely way to spend an afternoon people-watching.

Where else can you enjoy an excellent meal in the shadows of the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame cathedral? A small bottle of barely chilled French wine with a baguette completes the experience!

Discover Montmartre

Montmartre is the loveliest area in Paris. What was onetime a little village on the hill now forms the 18th Arrondissement of Paris. It was popular with artists and poets inspired by the stunning Parisian scenery. It also went through a period of cabarets, brothels, and secretive nightlife, known primarily for the Moulin Rouge. Stroll the prettiest street in Paris, Rue de l'Abreuvoir; it's easy to get lost weaving through lovely streets, adorable houses, and doorways. The Basilica Sacre-Coeur is a stunning white church overlooking the city. Climb the steep cobbled streets to reach the gardens below the church.
