Head to a Local Farmer's Market

It's time to stock up on fresh autumnal veggies like squash and pumpkins. Long Fall nights are the perfect time to try new recipes. Be sure to post your delicious creations on Instagram.

Share Your Favorite Halloween Memories

Sometimes, the simplest dates are the most fun and bring you closer together. Spend an evening sipping wine and talking about Halloweens past. Tell each other all about your favorite costumes, treats, and spookiest haunted houses.

Cocoa and a Roaring Fire

Snuggle up and sip hot chocolate in front of a roaring fire. If you are feeling ambitious, you can always make some s' mores.

Cheesy Horror Movie Night

Spend an evening jumping in fright and laughing at cheesy 70s and 80s special effects. I recommend "Prom Night," "Nightmare on Elm Street," "Leprechaun" (otherwise known as the movie Jennifer Aniston wishes we would all forget), and of course, "Halloween."

Train for and run a race together.

Does turkey-trot sound fun? Maybe or maybe not. Training side by side in the wee hours of the morning or late at night is romantic if you are intentional about it. Crossing the finish line will be a date you two will always remember. There is nothing says date night like working up a sweat with the one you love.

Turn Your Home into a Cozy Cabin

Use twinkle lights and unique accessories to make your home feel like a romantic Autumn fantasy. Your cozy cabin doesn't have to be just for date night; you can keep it all Fall long!

Ghost in the Graveyard

Grab some friends and relive your childhood by playing Ghost in the Graveyard.

Go for a Hayride

Head to a farm and hop on a hayride and enjoy the autumn scenery. A haunted hayride makes for the perfect Halloween date night. Scarecrows, and pumpkins, and ghosts–oh my! If you are lucky, your hayride will end up at a corn maze, where you can get lost.

Fall Photoshoot

The leaves and scenery are breathtaking this time of year. They make an ideal backdrop for couples photoshoot.

Make a Haunted Gingerbread House

Yes, you could make a Christmas gingerbread house, but making a haunted house is so much more fun. Also, all your mistakes will look intentional. And if you are like me, there will be lots of errors. Gingerbread houses are HARD to make. I have tried using the kits they sell at Christmas, and I have to lie and say they are for Halloween.
