Honeymoon Like Beyonce and Jay-Z

Am I alone in my adoration of Beyonce and Jay-Z? I can't see how I could be; they are absolute marvels. In addition to both being music icons, they have the most adorable children! My son Jonny has decided that he is going to marry their daughter Blue Ivy, but he hasn't worked out how he's going to meet her. One day when I grow up, I hope to be half as impressive as Beyonce is!

When Queen Bey and Jay-Z married, they could have chosen any fantastic honeymoon destination in the world. No romantic destination would have been out of reach of these A-Listers! So many people were stunned when they picked Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. Anyone lucky enough to stay at this spectacular resort knew that Beyonce and Jay-Z must have had a luxurious and relaxing trip. You can honeymoon like the stars at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain.

Overview of Resort

Perched on 53 breathtaking acres of vast Arizona desert, Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain beckons honeymoon couples year after year. It is an oasis for anyone seeking to relax and reconnect away from the crowds and beaches. You will leave the ordinary world behind as soon as you step into your gorgeous luxury retreat. The resort beautifully embeds within the dramatic shadows of Camelback Mountain, which offers panoramic views and a feeling of escape no other hotel can provide.

Accommodations at Sanctuary

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain has a multitude of options in regards to accommodations. These range from lovely, intimate mountain retreats to massive mountain estates. The rooms feature contemporary and striking interiors with tons of limestone and wood for texture; each room retreat offers the ultimate in relaxation and luxury. Eighty mountain side casitas are terraced naturally into the rugged slope. Half of the casitas are mountain suites that provide more room as well as incredible vistas. Do you have plans to partake of their award-winning spa? Book one of the 24 spa casitas that surround the resort's infinity-edge pool and the spa. Terraced high on Camelback Mountain lies the 7 Mountain Estates. The estates are perfect for couples that want total privacy and dazzling views of the valley below but would still be able to take advantage of the amenities offered at the resort.

Jessie's Room Tip: the Spa Suites are absolute perfection! Revel in a spacious living area with a wet bar. Spend hours cozying up by the glass rock fireplace. These suites are the pinnacle of luxury—the private outdoor soaking tub invites guests to linger outdoors and enjoy everything the wonderous Arizona desert has to offer.

Wellness at Sanctuary

Sanctuary has a fantastic spa that offers an intimate retreat with Asian inspired treatments. It is the place to go if you want to achieve balance and pure relaxation. The fourteen indoor and outdoor treatment rooms border the serene meditation garden and soothing reflection pool. Therapists promote ultimate alignment in all areas, ensuring that the spirit is at ease during the service and long after you leave the Sanctuary. In addition to the spa, you will find a state of the art gym and a movement studio, which is perfect for pilates and yoga. Do you desire a refreshing swim workout? Not to worry, there is a lap pool. The Sanctuary also offers year-round tennis on their tennis camp. You can play a match with friends, or take advantage of clinics or private lessons from one of their professional instructors.
