The Sexiest New Honeymoon Hotels (Part 1)

During the pandemic, many said that travel would never recover. I always believed it would return; you can't extinguish wanderlust forever! But I was surprised by the ardor that travel has inspired in people. It's not just travelers who are eager to return to normal, but travel companies too. This last year I have planned trips to places I had never sent people to, like Uzbekistan, Israel, Columbia, and Turkey. Some of the most incredible resorts I have ever seen opened in 2022. You need to discover these gems before everyone else does! Here is part 1 of my sexiest new honeymoon hotels.

The Langham is the first new beachfront hotel on this gorgeous stretch of the Australian coast in more than 30 years. Lying between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, the hotel rises in the heart of Queensland's most stunning beaches, packed with tastefully established hotel rooms and residences. The Jewel Residences house one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments. Each has spectacular and spacious balconies, which fill the apartments with an abundance of light.

Honeymooners seeking romance and seclusion often pick the Maldives; couples looking for a total transformation need to choose JOALI BEING. It is a nature-immersive, wellness-focused haven. The resort offers trainers, therapists, and nutritionists dedicated to mind, skin, microbiome, and energy. Don't worry. They didn't focus so much on wellness that they left out what couples want when going to the Maldives; JOALI has incredible overwater bungalows!

I adore the 'Island of Gods', so I don't require an excuse to pack my bags and head to Bali. But if you are looking for one, Jumeirah Bali is the answer to your prayers. Jumeirah comprises eighty suites and twenty-five villas. The resort lies on the southern tip of Jimbaran and blends the surrounding vegetation and cultural heritage into a refined romantic getaway.

It's a wonder that Villa Passalacqua has flown under the radar for so long. The resort is a neoclassical 18th-century villa perched above the sands of Lake Como. Currently reimagined as a 24-suite hotel, the numerous romantic luxuries include vintage boat rides and couples' spa treatments. Napoleon Bonaparte vacationed at the villa, so you know it must be unique.

Before opening, Sussurro had developed a loyal following on Instagram by tapping into design-loving creatives who desire eco-conscious luxury travel. The restaurant's menu utilizes local ingredients, and the drinks consist of tropical fruits and fair-trade coffee. The six bungalows promote mindfulness and African heritage.

Mango House Seychelles is 41 room boutique resort. Its ultra-gorgeous solitude on Mahe is the embodiment of barefoot luxury. You can gape at the exquisite bay views for hours on end. And the support of local artisans makes one feel particularly connected to Seychelles.

Jet-setting couples head to Soho Houses to party with A-Listers, and their new resort in Canouan will not disappoint. The 40-room beachfront resort has no TVs but does offer fast WiFi. You can swim in the quiet bay or snorkel with sea turtles and hike to the top of Mount Royal for a breathtaking view of this tiny island.

You can spend time exploring the ancient ruins of the mysterious Nabatean Kingdom. Banyan Tree's first resort in Saudi Arabia lies near the Kingdom's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra. Referencing the desert landscape encompassing the Ashar valley, the resort offers eighty-two tented villas, a Spa, and a selection of gourmet dining venues. Due to minimal light pollution, Banyan Tree features cozy fire pits, the ideal spot to stargaze.

Capri's first hotel opened in 1822; Hotel La Palma has long been a social hub on the island. And now, it altered into an extravagant, luxurious resort. They have unveiled a rooftop restaurant and bar, a newly built pool deck, a spa, and even high-fashion boutiques; there is also a beach club. All this lies mere steps from the renowned Piazzetta of Capri.

Four Seasons is one of the most renowned luxury brands, and to observe its maturation is to follow the hottest crazes in the hospitality industry. One of these trends is luxury glamping— bringing luxury honeymooners close to nature without relinquishing the pleasures and conveniences of modern life. Naviva is an adults-only nature haven set amidst forty-eight acres of a forest-covered private peninsula with only fifteen tents. The tents offer the best indoor-outdoor living, with an expansive deck with a hammock and outdoor rain showers, an open-air living room, and a lavish bedroom that opens to a private pool.

Six Senses, a wellness-focused resort, has arrived in Ibiza, an island known for 6 am walks of shame than sunrise yoga classes. At the Six Senses, self-care feels utterly indulgent with food so delicious you won't notice the detoxing. The enormous cliff-top space fits in with the island by utilizing homegrown artisans and food.

Along the 1,400-mile Tea Horse Road comes a new LUX* hotel on the seventh-century trade route in Emei, China, broadening the scope of adventures couples can experience. Rather than mere hotel stays, LUX* guests book culinary, cultural, and spiritual journeys in which knowledgeable locals teach captivating history and customs as you move between its various hotels. One day could include a trip to a snow mountain, and the next, tea with monks at a monastery.

The Maybourne has redefined the sleepy town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin; you catch glances of the dazzling block of white crisscrossed lines and floor-to-ceiling glass. From each of the 69 rooms, you can glimpse the cotton candy dawn over Cap Martin. From the restaurant's balcony, the ever-changing scenery of faraway sailboats, mega-yachts, and swooping hang gliders unfolds. The pool, carved into the rock, offers a mirage-like haze of sea and sky.

Do you desire near-total seclusion for your honeymoon? Choose the Sanctuary Tambarare in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, about three hours north of Nairobi. The resort is the place to live out Out of Africa-style fantasies, with the Big Five lingering near your veranda and professionals on hand to take you lion tracking. The camp offers a mere ten tents, each comes with Masai art, with panoramas that roll towards Mount Kenya.

Offering breathtaking sea views and a sandy beach, One&Only Kea Island lies across sixty hectares of the isolated shore of Kea. It is an idyllic beachfront resort; the resort comprises seventy-five villas. There are two bars and three restaurants designed around distinct Grecian culinary concepts. The Spa provides natural healing and hedonistic pampering with an expertly balanced menu of modern and holistic treatments.

2022 has gifted the world with many incredible resorts that await your arrival! I honestly tried to narrow down my list to 15 top new honeymoon hotels, but I couldn't do it. These excellent resorts deserve some love, so you must stay tuned for parts 2 and 3 of my sexiest new honeymoon hotels.
