Fall Photoshoot

Choose a scenic spot and have a fun photoshoot. If you want something unique, hire a professional photographer to capture nature's gorgeous colorful backgrounds adequately! Remember the day for eternity with romantic fall photos.

Murder Mystery Dinner

If you are looking for a night out that is both fun and interactive, head for a murder mystery dinner show. If you are looking in Kentucky, the Castles offers mystery dinners every week!

Go for Ride in the Country

Horseback riding is fun year-round, but there’s something extra special about riding as colorful leaves waft down all around you. You can flaunt your boots and cutest flannel shirt!

Play Football

You won't find a better way to spend the afternoon than playing flag football with your friends.

Decorate for Halloween

Get into the season by decorating for Halloween. Turn your yard into a graveyard or haunted house. If you are expecting a ton of little children, base your around Disney's Not So Scary Halloween, or you will be dealing with crying toddlers all night.

Tell Ghost Stories

Get your friends together, grab a flashlight, build a fire, and everyone can take turns scaring the pants off of each other.

Start Your Holiday Shopping

Now is the perfect time to get a jump on your holiday shopping—head to a flea market, antique store, or even the mall. Stroll hand in hand as you pick out gifts that your friends and family will love.

Learn a New Skill

It's time to learn something new together. I want to learn archery, and my husband has always wanted to try ax throwing so that we will give them both a whirl.

Go to a Drive-In

Drive-In movies are hard to find, but if you're lucky enough to live by one, take advantage of it. If you don't have a drive-in near you, grab a blanket and watch a movie under the stars.

Volunteer Together

While volunteering is essential all year long, it's especially important to give back to the less fortunate when temperatures drop. Fall is the gratitude season, after all.

Fly a Kite

Relive your childhood by flying kites. Top off the day with a picnic in the park for the perfect outdoor Fall date.

Costume Party

It's time to do the "Monster Mash." Nothing is more fun than partying the night away with your friends.

Halloween Fright Nights

I was afraid fright nights would be canceled this year, but Lexington is still going forward. So go and enjoy getting scared to death, but don't let the zombies get you!

Ballroom Dancing

Last winter, my husband and I started ballroom dancing lessons, and when we were getting good, COVID-19 shut down our studio. But it's open back up now, and it is the perfect time to learn to dance. We make a whole evening of the lessons by getting dressed up and having a romantic dinner before class.

Go to the Zoo

Fall is the best time to go to the zoo. Cool weather and few screaming children mean that you can take your time and wander through the zoo nibbling on popcorn.

Celebrate Friendsgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to reconnect with your family, but you can pick a day to reconnect with your friends by having a potluck. We watch old episodes of "Friends" during our potluck to keep with the theme.

This article is my fourth Fall in my Fall date ideas series. Have you tried any of these? What are your tried and true Autumn dates? You can read Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 of the series. You need to snuggle up with these fall dates!
