You Would Be Crazy Not to Use a Travel Advisor

If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it is that the world can change in an instant. I am sure you are wondering what I have been up to in 2020. I had so many trips planned. I ended up canceling almost all of them. I worked hard to ensure that my clients had a smooth and seamless cancelation process, received a refund, or quickly rebooked. Clients didn't spend hours on hold, begging to speak to a human being. You would be crazy not to use a travel advisor to plan your getaways. I am going to highlight all the ways a travel advisor can make your life easier.

Curation

You can spend hours on end reading reviews and looking at the pictures of every hotel in Paris, and still not know which is the best option for you. Or you can let me do that for you. Very few couples come to me, knowing exactly where they want to go and what they want to do. Most clients come to me with a vague idea of what they want. It is up to me to take your musings and turn them into your fantasy trip. I use our initial consultation to get a sense of you as a couple. Afterward, I will send a curated list of hotels that will fulfill your desire to watch the sunrise over the Eiffel Tower and your partner's wish to be steps from a cafe with incredible croissants. Instead of looking over thousands of hotels, you now have a handful that perfectly matches you!

Bespoke Itineraries

Based on the information we obtain from you via our questionnaire and subsequent discussions, we custom-build your itinerary to deliver the travel experience you desire. We can make recommendations that allow you and your loved ones to explore unfamiliar destinations confidently through our access to a vast network of prescreened high-quality vendors. I both want and need your feedback. If you hate everything bit of the itinerary or one tiny component, let me know, and I will change it. I will completely start over if needed. We will work collaboratively to ensure that your trip exceeds your expectations.

Unique Experiences

I spend a lot of time learning about my client's preferences, hobbies, and interests. This knowledge allows me to make recommendations for your vacation. Are you art lovers? Perhaps you would love a behind the scenes tour of the local artisan's studio. Wine lovers would be happy with a Vespa tour of Tuscany. Animals lovers can help baby sea turtles make it to the sea. If you dream it, I can build it. I tailor everything to you. And I can introduce you to activities, shows, and restaurants you never would be able to access on your own. I pride in partnering with in-country travel suppliers. They offer out-of-the-ordinary (non-Googleable, I know that's not a word) activities and provide stellar service. Your drivers and tour guides will be timely, professional, and fun. I often hear that these professionals truly elevated the entire trip.

Communication and Preparation

With an online travel agency, you receive a confirmation and not much else. I try to answer any questions or concerns you may have before you leave. One week after booking, you will receive a road map detailing when and how you can expect to hear from me. You'll receive the "Benefits for Our Clients" document seven days later, letting you know about the added value we will provide you at no additional charge. You will also get information about visas, travel documents, and immunizations at least four months before your travel. Starting two months before departure, I start sending you a weekly countdown email to get you ready for your trip. You will get travel tips, info about restaurants with walking distance of your hotel, things to see and do at your destination, etc. I want to ensure your getaway is as stress-free as possible.

It's all in the details (itinerary), darling!

Two before your departure, you will receive final travel documents (both electronically and printed). Every detail will be included, such as pick up times, addresses, phone numbers, driving directions, local contacts should you require assistance, etc. Pack your bags and show up at the airport, I have taken care of everything else.

Personalized Service & VIP Treatment

You are unique to us, and you will receive personalized service starting from the planning stages of your trip through to your return home. Tour vacation is essential to you, whether it be a honeymoon, destination wedding, anniversary celebration, or a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list adventure. We routinely leverage our extensive connections to get you VIP treatment at your travel destinations. Two months before you arrive, I email the general manager and concierge of every hotel or cruise you will use. I let them know you are VIP clients and ask for upgrades. I also call them a month out and send another email one week before arrival. Since I am a member of the world's largest luxury travel consortia, Virtuoso, I can get you extra perks, including room upgrades, free services, exclusive amenities, and other special touches. You deserve extra attention and pampering, and I want to ensure you get it!

Fulfilled Expectations

Show up, and your dream journey will unfold! We supply the time, hard work, and expertise required to turn your fantasies into reality.

I've got your back. Whether you need assistance while traveling or unpredictable events take place, you are taken care of by my local supplier partners and me. During the global pandemic, millions of travelers had to cancel their trips. A travel advisor will take care of all the issues. I have spent countless hours canceling vacations for clients and ensuring they received full credits or refunds promptly. At a large online travel agency, you are simply a number. At Trips to Cherish, you are family. You would be crazy not to use a travel advisor on your next trip!
